Integral e-Drive to present highest performance electric systems at Electric and Hybrid Aerospace technology symposium 2019

Highest performing electric systems | A Track to Sky presentation

November 14, 2019

Join Andrew Cross, Chief Technical Officer of Integral e-Drive, as he presents “Highest-performance electric systems – from Track to Sky” at the upcoming Electric & Hybrid Aerospace Technology Symposium in Cologne, Germany (13-14 November 2019).

The Electric & Hybrid Aerospace Technology Symposium is the world’s leading international conference dedicated to ultra-low-emission aircraft technology and full-electric flight possibilities. The two-day event will cover all aspects of aerospace activity, from general aviation and smaller regional aircraft, to larger commercial airliners. Its purpose is to highlight the fast-paced development of hybrid propulsion and electrical subsystem architecture or MEA and to discuss the vast research into increased electrification of aircraft and the possibilities and challenges that brings.

Integral e-Drive has developed some of the world’s most power-dense electric motors and inverters for racing applications, including the record-breaking and multi-awarding-winning system for the VW I.D. R Pikes Peak car. Andrew’s presentation covers the basics that enable power density and gives an insight into the current art-of-the-possible in top-end motorsport, including efficiency data. In a move from track to sky, some designs for next-generation aerospace applications that could deliver world-leading motor concepts with power densities of over 45kW/Kg, and integrated inverters beyond 100kW/kg, will be presented.

The presentation is at 15:45 on 14th November 2019. Don’t miss out register for free here.
