We at Integral Powertrain LTD (IP), are looking forward to 2020 with great optimism and anticipation. 2019 saw the “Revolution In Motion” continue at a rapid pace with developments in not only EV powertrain technologies advancing, but also those of alternative fuels such as hydrogen and solar.
An amazing 2019 saw our clients reveal some fantastic vehicles, continue to break records and start developing new technologies and capabilities in their sectors. Group Lotus cars revealed their first EV road car; the Evija, which is set to break records. Triumph Motorcycles commenced work with IP, Williams Advanced Engineering and WMG on a new electric motorcycle capability, and Aston Martin put two of their latest vehicles (Rapide E and Valkyrie) through their paces on the track.
Our accolades included the Motorsport Industry Association’s Technology of the Year award and a double win at this year’s Milton Keynes Business Achievement Awards, winning not only Technology Business of the Year but also Milton Keynes Business of the Year.
A position of strength
Looking forward to 2020, this exciting year is a testimony to the hard work and expertise of our employees who tirelessly strive to deliver world class technological solutions to our client projects, helping them develop world leading vehicles.
We have been fortunate to work with some amazing companies and people during the year and engineer products that will truly inspire. We have continued to share our thoughts and insights on the future of motorsport, aerospace and automotive, as well as the future direction of e-Drive technology.
We will launch 2020 from a position of strength. The Integral Powertrain Emissions and Driveline Test Facility nears completion after its £1.6M upgraded. Final commissioning is taking place and will soon be ready to accept client vehicle test programmes.
We are looking forward to welcoming our teams to the new Technical Centre during Q2 2020. Build work on the new 47,000 sq. ft. facility in Milton Keynes has seen progress since work began in May and the internal fit-out recently commenced.
Of the future Alan Cherrington, Chief Operating Officer said:
“Our ability to leverage and tailor our core technologies to create an immediate and positive impact on our client programmes has never been stronger as we enter a new decade and a new era for transportation as a whole. It will bring a new set of challenges and mountains to climb, however Integral Powertrain Ltd are well placed to meet them head-on and continue to “turn ideas into reality”.”
AS 2019 DRAWS TO A CLOSE WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK ALL OUR STAFF, CUSTOMERS, SUPPLIERS AND THEIR FAMILIES A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR
