IP joined partners Jaguar Land Rover and Bath University to present the engine downsizing capability and benefits of their SuperGen technology to the great and the good of the global automotive industry.
Now in its 23rd iteration the Aachen Colloquium for Automobile and Engine Technology is a focal point in the calendar, bringing together technology and business leaders from all the major automotive companies. As a finger on the pulse of current developments and future trends it provides a snapshot of the innovation and technologies that will be entering the consumer marketplace in the next few years.
The presentation formed part the Technical Conference within the Combustion Processes Gasoline Engines 1 session and is titled ‘The Application of the SuperGen Electromechanical Centrifugal Supercharger to the Ultraboost Extreme Downsizing Engine.’
It was presented by Dr James Turner of Jaguar land Rover and represents the joint efforts of Integral Powertrain, Jaguar Land Rover and the University of Bath, partners on the project which commenced in 2010.
